Debra Bonner is Founder and Chairman of the Board of The Debra Bonner Vocal Performance Academy. She received her Master of Music Degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Michigan and her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Vocal Performance and Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education from Kentucky State University. She has performed professionally throughout the United States, Europe, Canada, Israel and Liberia, West Africa. Her performances have included classical, jazz, gospel, and pop styles of music as well as Broadway selections. True professionals in the vocal industry recognize her vocal accomplishments and flexibility, and her unique vocal teaching techniques.
Mrs. Bonner has trained with and been in association with master teachers who considered by singers, "to be the best in the world." She has trained teachers who have taught performers on the Las Vegas Strip, recording artists, leads on Broadway as well as a large number of background singers and choristers. Additionally, she has conducted well over three hundred vocal seminars and master classes in Michigan, Nevada, Utah, Ohio, Arizona, California and New York. She has taught over 20 years.
