Douglas Harkey has been the owner of his own graphic design and advertising business for the past twenty plus years, first in Arizona and now in Utah. He specializes in logos, printed media design and website development and optimization.
Douglas is in the process of building ThreadKey Development, a web-based business creating income for students, parents and entrepreneurs interested in the support of philanthropic causes.
He is serving as the 2007-08 president of the Rotary Club of Moab, UT and is on the San Juan County Planning and Zoning board. He has also been president of the Monticello Chamber of Commerce, chairman of the Monticello Economic Development Board, and has been on the board of Southeastern Utah Applied Technology College. Douglas has been instrumental in the expansion of the GWU Monticello campus and is currently enrolled as a student at George Wythe University.
Douglas, his wife Michelle and their five children live in Monticello, Utah.
