An Open Letter
From
Dr. Donald N. Sills
2008

I was born in Oklahoma, the son of a farmer. I have one brother who is nine years my senior and lives in Oklahoma. My Mom and Dad are both deceased. Later in life, when I was about six or seven my Dad became involved in the home building business. I grew up pretty much around this field. My parents were good stock. Dad died young at age 54 in 1960. Mom passed away in 1992.

Our daughter and her family live in Round Hill, VA our youngest son and his family live in Ashburn, VA and both are building contractors. Our eldest son is an educator and currently lives in Asheville, N.C.

From the business world I have had some successes and failures. In 1986 I was a founder and served as President for over five years of “The Family Entertainment Network”; based in Dallas, Texas. We started with an idea and in our fourth year of business we broke $25,000,000 in sales in the field of animated Bible stories and became number one in the field. It was sold to Nest, Inc. and is still a very successful company.

I have been primarily involved as a business consultant since 1995. Katherine, my wife, and I have recently taken residence in Mapleton, Utah. Some may think I’m nuts but I am convinced that God has a job for me to do, and without sounding egoistical; I believe that I can still make an impact on our world. We must teach people the fundamentals of our Constitution and the basics of the Word of God. Some think I should just retire and relax! I would go nuts if I just retired. We have lived in Northern Virginia for over twenty years. Currently I am also involved in land and educational development in a number of countries: United States, Thailand, Mexico, Paraguay, Ecuador, Switzerland, Mainland China, etc.; teaching the Constitution, teaching the Word of God, building schools and trying to wake up not only America but the world in general to the reality that if we do not reverse the current trends in education and politics we stand to lose the very freedoms so many of us take for granted.

I am a Born Again Christian totally committed to Jesus Christ and carry the responsibility of sharing my knowledge of Him from the infallible Word of God with the world. I am a people person and recognize this as one of my main strengths. I love our Constitution and have been a teacher of such for over 45 years I thank God for our Founding Fathers and Mothers which has produced the greatest nation on the face of the earth.

Warm Regards,

Dr. Donald N. Sills
Mapleton, Utah
