Dr. Michael Platt earned degrees at Harvard University (BA), Oxford University (MA.) and Yale University (Ph.D.). Dr. Platt has taught Literature, Political Science, and Philosophy, here in America, especially at Dartmouth and the University of Dallas, where he directed the Literature portion of the Philosophic Institute, and in Germany, at Heidelberg. He is a leading expert on political science and statesmanship and has lectured widely in the United States and Europe.
He and his wife school their children at home in Fredericksburg Texas, and his "Myth of the Teenager" is the most popular piece ever published in Mary Pride's Practical Home Schooling. His work has been supported by the Earhart Foundation, the National Humanities Endowment, and the Alexander von Humboldt Stiftung (Germany). Dr. Platt taught most recently at the College of Thomas More in Fort Worth and the International Theological Institute in Gaming, Austria. Dr.Platt lectures for ISI from time to time.
