Auditing Classes
Students who do not wish to apply for acceptance into a degree program but would still like to attend classes may audit a class if space is available. All Distance Studies, Extension Courses and Statesmanship Seminars are available for auditing. Auditing students do not receive GWC credit. However, if the student applies and is accepted into a George Wythe College degree program while taking an audited course they may become eligible to receive credit for that class. They would not be eligible to receive credit for previously audited classes.
The cost for auditing classes is the same as the cost to enroll for credit. Students who wish to audit a class should follow these steps:
- Go to the Student Center
- Select the desired semester
- Select the appropriate program (Distance Studies, Extension Courses or Statesmanship Seminars)
- Complete and submit the Registration Form with payment to the Office of the Registrar prior to the registration due date. Be sure to indicate on the form that you are an auditing student.
- Note: An Enrollment Agreement is not required.
