How to Apply (Undergraduate\Graduate Programs)

Admissions deadlines vary by semester. Click here and then select the semester of intended enrollment.


  1. Application
    Get started now,
    Apply online      or
    Download the Application Form
  2. Transcripts
         Call all previous colleges and have your transcripts sent
         directly to GWC.
    And\Or
    Test Scores
    (BA applicants only)
          Have official copies of ACT or SAT (I) scores sent directly
          to the Director of Admissions (required for all applicants to
          the Fall 2008 on-campus undergraduate program, effective       February 1, 2008).
  3. Letters of Recommendation
    Procure 2 Letters of Recommendation
  4. Personal Essay
    Write an essay addressing the topic: “My Educational Goals and Why I want to Attend George Wythe College ."
  5. Creative Sample and Cover Letter
    Prepare a sample of work in an area in which you have excelled. (Music, Art, Writing, etc.) Also write a cover letter explaining the sample. 
  6. Application Fee
    Please include the appropriate application fee; $60 for undergraduate, $85 for graduate.
  7. Mail the above items to: George Wythe College, Director of Admissions, 970 South Sage Drive, Cedar City, Utah 84720.
  8. After completed applications are received you will be contacted in order to schedule an academic interview.
  9. George Wythe College will consider students during the application process who have met the following conditions:
    1. are beyond the age of Utah Compulsory Education (18)
    2. have received either a high school diploma or satisfactorily passed the General Educational Development Test or a national standardized test (ACT/SAT)
    3. satisfactorily passed the GWC entrance examination
    Exceptions to this policy will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
