George Wythe College Presents
Rethinking Leadership:
Why Statesmanship must
replace Leadership in
the 21st Century
A 3-day Statesmen Retreat
November 8-10, 2007
When looking closely at the historical cycles of Founding, Awakening, Unraveling and Crisis, it is clear that America is in line for major challenges—possibly as impactful as the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, the Great Depression and World War II. The time to build Statesmen who are prepared to deal with crises of this magnitude is now. Statesmanship preparation is more than merely career training; it is finding and fulfilling a powerful mission; it is preparing oneself to have a major impact on the course of human events. This is Statesmanship, and it is needed now. Do you have a mission to pay the price of greatness and become a Statesman?
We founded George Wythe College with the express purpose of training leaders for the 21st Century. We don’t know what will happen in the 21st Century, but we know that every generation faces its share of challenges. To be prepared to face these challenges will require more than just a handful of statesmen—We will need a generation!
This three day event is designed to give an overview of what will be required of the leaders of the 21st Century. Some of these requirements include world class education, public virtue and the ability to have meaningful impact. Unfortunately most potential statesmen are not prepared to meet these demands. Come and learn what George Wythe College is doing to bridge the gap!
