Freshman Prep
Learn the skills needed to excel at
George Wythe College
George Wythe College’s Freshman Prep seminar prepares students for the George Wythe College experience! GWC is offering an exciting new opportunity for all incoming freshman and anyone wishing to increase their scholar skills. This class is open to anyone 15 and up who is ready for an intensive scholar experience. This class is designed to help prepare students to excel in their freshman year at GWC laying the foundations for diplomacy as well as serious study. Skills covered during the seminar include: how to study, keep a study journal, increase attention span, reading comprehension, research, writing at a college level, presentation preparation, identify principles, how to teach, annotating skills, colloquium, simulations, define terms, dialog with author, sequential reasoning, vision and oral testing.
